Zion National Park to Mesquite NV

This was one of the longer Fixed Gear rides that I accomplished this summer. Looking back on rides like this, I like to think of how I could have done things differently maybe trained harder...etc.. etc..

Mostly though, are thoughts of a trip that would not be so based on the debit card. While it was nice to know that I could crank out some miles [still], I have to ask myself, "How far could it get if only self supported? How far without gas stations for extra water and snacks?...Where does that dirt road really go to? What is really 'off limits' in Shivwitts Res... I mean, Could I take any road as long as I think it is a road?"
