I’ve started logging miles. My goal of 200 non-commuting miles on the bike has turned out harder to fit into the week than I first thought.
Facing it, always facing it, that's the way to get through. Face it.

Yet, the first wet and cold ride of the season is now past and there are two new converts to the cause. Normal folk of this area certainly think I’m crazy but I’m slowly convincing them that is all for a good cause over a cup of coffee while I warm my feet. At lest one gas station has volunteered to be an unofficial sponsor on cold days by providing a free coffee stop. Dam the snow plows, full steam ahead. Hopefully, these rides will serve a double propose with donations to the www.fixhistio.org as well as a tempering of the bones and sinew.
Most of the time I’m just riding up to Franklin, Idaho but I’m going to shoot for Bear Lake on Sunday. Not as many stops but the infrequency of stops is off set by Logan Canyon.
